Sex-offender information is made available to the public pursuant to Oklahoma law that requires all convicted sex offenders to register their current addresses with their local law-enforcement agencies. The law requires agencies to make that information available to the public.
The information is provided by the offenders at the time of their registrations. It is a crime for the offenders to fail to register or to provide false information when registering.
Sex-offender information can be viewed on the Web site of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
