(Sapulpa, OK) On September 14, 2023, Creek County Deputies arrested James Allen Sanders, 33, an unregistered sex offender residing in Creek County. Sanders was convicted in 2009 of rape by instrumentation and released in 2019. In 2021 he was convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery against an officer, and possession of a firearm after a previous felony conviction. James Sanders was released from the Department of Corrections in March 2023 and failed to register, as is required by the Oklahoma Sex and Violent Offender Registration Act.
